A large segment of Europeans carry the old baggage of anti-Semtism. Over 500 years ago there was less than 1% of Jews living in Germany, yet the paranoia regarding the Jew was more than rampant. An average German has hardly seen a Jew, but the media of that time fueled an unhealthy prejudice against the Yid (Yiddish for Jüde). An outsider can call it even crazy. The hatred has been so intense that for a normal person it is very hard to come to grips with it and to explain it away in normal rational terms. The only explanation is that it comes from a deeply seeded fear. Just as the Canaanites were scared out of their wits; so it seems that a similar case has been with Germany and later (to a lesser degree) also with the German-speaking people.
The Spanish "unholy" inquisition was not enough? Why the hatred? Luther spewed his "holy fire of indignation" and one is asking why? We can go over and over again, but as it is the case with the Book of Revelations one will eventually get stuck in a quagmire of myriads of question marks.
Neither the Spanish inquisitors nor Luther lived to see the birth of the modern state of Israel, which had been established on the foundation of ALIYA, which means an ascend to Jerusalem or to Zion. It stipulates that every Jew in the diaspora has the right to return to Zion. The Jewish State of Israel is the fulfillment of biblical prophecies.
It is not nice to gang up on the dispersed wanderer, yet God by this "holy experiment" tests nations and their folk whether they are kind and compassionate or not. The European nations rode on the back of a sick camel through a desert of indifference and severe ignorance. The same Luther who championed Paul's Letter to the Romans could not get over his and the popular anti-Semtic sentiments. The entire letter addresses the Roman Christian church versus the Jew and Israel. The highlight part of his letter was chapter 11.
For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (Rom. 11:25).
So a question remains, how could Luther have missed it? Time belongs to the Sovereign over all Almighty God. If He is not sovereign over all of His entire creation then no matter how one goes about it one displays signs of paganism, which dualism is only a diluted form of polytheism. Satan does not rule over no realm; for if he did He would be under God anyway; and so he is. Satan is not sovereign, regardless what theology gave us. This sort of theology can be quite easily and logically disproved with the use of one single belief in God's omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence - providing one cares to see Him as the ALL MIGHTY and not just a part-mighty god. Hence, the Bible is our holy inquisitor and tester. This is not temptation which would have something to do with luring and seducing. No. Tests are only for anything true. Anything not true needs no tests.
God left all references to Satan/devil in the Bible to test us by them whether we would love Him or rather ourselves and our self-invented theology.
God tested Abraham - to see if it was just Abraham's bravado, self-inspired enthusiasm, or even a pretense about doing God's will, or he had actually possessed the true faith of El Shadday (Hebrew: God as a nursing mother) and El Elyon (Hebrew: the Most High God). God's seed must pass through the same tests to prove its true belonging and source.
Some have already passed those tests; others still fight against them for they do not realize that any connections, even through the Internet's public social media, have been made by God long before even the foundation of the earth.

[Psalms 11:5] The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
Therefore, the Lord loves peacemakers when they prove themselves to be His children through their conduct in this life. Extremities are not of God's children they belong to fanatics. Watch yourself that you do not display those characteristics. No one wants to be loved extravagantly and publicly all the time, there must come the test of deeds and fruits, which come from within.
There are people who are deep into the replacement theology and those who go almost wild with their love for Israel, somewhere in the middle is the balance. This balance must be there because of time. Yes, we are living in an overlapping period. God wraps things up. There will be the final and decisive war, but not until the church goes through the final reformation in regard to monotheism - One God. Hence, until then we are being tested through dualism, a diluted version of polytheism.
The test of our love for our Heavenly Father, our Maker, is also under the magnifying glass of God's holy scrutiny. All tests happen in conjunction with people we meet or even become friends with.
[John 15:8] My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.Again, proving to oneself and to Him that we are His disciples.

Like the migrating birds, people migrate from the extreme north to the extreme south, back and forth. Either they hate the Jew who lives in their country, even next door, or they love Israel out there in Mideast. They show no love and respect to a Jew standing next to them, but they go wild for Israel. Perhaps, they only love the idea of Israel and the fulfillment of prophecies, which sort of strengthens their faith in the existence of God and even defines it? Whatever the case, there must be balance, equilibrium; otherwise we will never grasp the laws of God's Kingdom.
[Isaiah 60:14-16] The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, and all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; and they will call you the city of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas you have been forsaken and hated with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from generation to generation. You will also suck the milk of nations and suck the breast of kings; then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
I guess, this is already happening before our very eyes. Iran is scared of Israel that's why the rhetoric. Arabs hate the speck of dust in their eye. The show will soon be over. God will emerge gloriously triumphant; and His chosen victorious. Those that lavish their uninhibited and unrestrained love for Israel can also just as quickly turn against the Jew. This migration from one pole to another in this case is quick for these are the two extremes of the same psyche.
Let me stress it again. Just as one has so readily embraced the Jew, or rather only Israel, with an unrestrained show of love, one can as quickly turn against the Jew if things do not go the way one has imagined or believed. The turning from throwing flowers to stoning can be quite sudden.

A Jew is no saint. Israeli mafia, pimps, prostitutes, rapists, swindlers, murders ... the list is long. God forbid that you should ever bump into such one, for then your extreme enthusiasm would have to migrate in the opposite direction; and your faith in Israel would fall. What would you do then? I've been there myself. That's the reason I shy away from all extremities lavished on the nation and not on her God.
This book is also available in German written by Benjamin Rubin.
The most important thing is to see things as God sees them. Are you able to sort of come out of your earthly skin and look at yourself, and also the world, through His eyes? That is the principle of mercy. Compassion, peace and logic is in the Frontal Lobe of your brain; and the opposite is in the Limbic part of the brain, which processes, anger, fear; hence, warlike signals.
On Facebook a man posted this question, "How can I defend myself against sinful thoughts - how do I decide successfully against them?" Some quote James 4:7 to resist the devil, etc, but do they know the devil they are resisting? How do they imagine this devil, with horns, hoofs and long tail? Where does he come from, why do we so quickly associate sin with the devil? Etc. Hence, quite easily we can label anyone the devil if he or she does not agree with or is against, or displays something evil. That's limbic not frontal, not of peace, but of war.
One must be anchored in God's absolute sovereignty and that is the God of Israel. He is my God is He also your God?
THE BOTTOM LINE
We must stay in truth, which is like the equator between the north and south poles. This spiritual and emotional equilibrium greatly benefits us in our spiritual growth of cognizance. Eventually, everything comes to the point of cognizance.
Spiritual growth comes from understanding of the given knowledge and its fruit is wisdom. One understands what sin is and what uncleanness is and differentiates between these two. The result is no struggle and no fuss, no residence, fight or struggle with something one believes to be sinful thoughts and no condemnation.
In our misunderstanding we accuse ourselves and condemn ourselves; and then we define ourselves in many ways; and one of those new definitions is the replacement theology and the other one is the completely (sometimes borderline fanatical) pro-Israel stance. A Christian says, I will bless Israel and the Jew, but I won't learn anything from Israel and the Jew. This is strange. One believes to be better than the Jew based on the "better covenant" (Hebr. 7:22) through Jesus, which the Jew had (supposedly completely) rejected, and yet one wants to shower love on the Jew perhaps out of guilt... I suppose. Now, this sort of psychology I have a really hard time comprehending.
Romans 11:8 says clearly that it was God who hardened the Jewish heart and blinded his eye, partially and temporarily (v. 25); until all good Christians come into the fold (John 10:16), so here we have it - time. Do you understand God's time?

[John 14:27] Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. - Jesus. From which realm did Jesus get this wonderful peace? From the realm of cosmic wars, overthrows of Lucifer and 1/3 of his supposedly subordinate angels? How does one know that it is 1/3 out of how many? Do you know?

[John 8:43] Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word.Even the Son of God was puzzled. Why you don't get it? It's so simple. What is blocking you? What is the obstacle, etc? And why they could not hear or listen to His word? The answer is simple: they had their own word their own agenda and their own way, that's why?
